So this isn't new to me, but every time I read about it my mind is still blown! God loves us so much that not only did he send his son as a sacrifice for our sinful nature and lifestyle, but God wants to live here on earth with us. We see it in the the plans he gives David for the temple the Solomon builds  and we see it also in the instructions he gives Ezekiel. Both times he talks about how he WILL live among his people. He wants to be with us! He loves us so dearly. While this maybe a small to most it's HUGE to me has everything it's all his, but all he desires is to be with us. The creator of the universe wants us. You & me. How special are we... ?


Think about it...

Just a little something I read that I felt needed to be shared. I'm afraid many of us in the church are leaving out the important things. Including the Holy Spirit.

The baby shower went awesomely! :) I have an amazing husband and all his N. Guard buddies and wives showed up! Then of course Nana and Grandma came too!  :) Definitely blessed to be able to see who really will be there for us! I cannot wait to meet this little boy! I am blown away by how quickly this pregnancy has went! Glad to be home though! WAY too much traveling the past few weeks. G and I are exhausted but glad to be home with Husband!! <3

Also the hubby and I have started devotionals for our marriage! I'd like to share the experience week by week! I am doing The Respect Dare and he is doing The Love Dare! Prayers for us! We are working on a marriage based more on biblical principles and less on worldly principles! God bless and goodnight!

So I'm sitting here and just chillin' ya know crocheting listening to a sermon about praise on HillsongTV and I get this interesting perspective of the power of praise. (Daddy GOD does that to me sometimes.)

However we don't think about how powerful praise is. Like what if we looked at Jericho. The walls of Jericho were brought down by shouts. Today daddy GOD says to me " It doesn't say what kind of shouts they were. "What if they were shouts of praise. When you praise me through your battles THE WALLS WILL COME CRASHING DOWN."

So I got the living room painted! All that's left in there are curtains and a rug as well as mounting the television on the wall. So soon we will have on whole room done! We're going finish painting the baby's room tomorrow hopefully!! (: Things are going much better here. I'm less stressed I don't know if I've finally learned to handle it better or if the toddler's behavior is improving possibly both. I just know it's been going much better!!! One of the many wonderful GOD given blessings going on for us right now! Also making so friends here at home finally. Which is making this place feel like home. definitely felt awkwardly out of place until recently. Now if only work would take off I'd finally have everything in order that I wanted to get in order before the end of the year! Prayers for me please!

Oh yeah! Baby shower next Saturday. It's all starting to sink in. 29 weeks! Wow. Sooo close but it seems so far away still!

My journey with Daddy.

I though I would do a little post on motivational verses and pictures and such just because I've been greatly blessed and motivated here lately and I've just wanted to share that joy. However, technology had a different idea and my computer is just acting all kinds of crazy.  Hopefully it will be up and running nice and healthy here soon and I can make said post. <3 Sorries loves.

Anyways. I am attacking this crumby attitude full on standing strong with Daddy GOD. He's so good! :)  My foot is down and I'm declaring freedom from the bad attitude that has been holding me back for so long and today I have just felt joy and peace! It's so much better than stress, stress, stress!! Praise the LORD for he is good. I'm standing strong! keep me in your prayers. I'm learning how to face a VERY headstrong 2 year old while ibeing extremely hormonal in my 6th month of pregnancy! Thank you. God bless and goodnight.

 

 

 

pray for our nation.

So tonight I am sitting here and thinking (dangerous I know) :p

Anyway, Daddy GOD has given me a heavy heart for our nation. We've fallen so far down. From marriage, honesty, and just everything has become so much less to people. Morals seem to be fleeing us at a phenomenally fast rate! It saddens me to see America in such a low place. I'm proposing that we hit our knees together and start praying for our nation daily. Praying for the restoration of our nation. Pray for awakening in our nation. Pray for GOD's spirit to fill our nation. Don't just stop there lest make it a goal to speak to one person. Stranger or not about GOD & His love for us. I know we can't win them all, but we've got to try! Let's step out of our comfort zones and reach out to some one hurting. Reach out to some one less fortunate. You don't even have to speak to share the love of GOD. It's all about your attitude. I'll be the first to admit I am the queen of sour puss attitudes! It's the mountain I'm working on moving right now! I'm declaring it moved and I'm declaring positivity over my life. <3

GOD IS GOOD.
GOD IS LOVE.
GOD IS JOY.
GOD IS PEACE.
GOD IS FREEDOM.

Good Advice

So I have a feeling Daddy GOD is gearing me up for something big. He's pushing me to do things WAY out of my comfort zone. I mean WAY, WAY out of my comfort zone! I am so ready to move for GOD. I have felt that there are couple things He's pulling me toward! Prayers for me would be wonderful! Prayers that I will heed GOD's call in my life and that He will just use me and move me to be successful! <3 It's greatly appreciated!

The house is coming along! Also baby shower plans were officially put in motion today and I am just so excited to meet my little boy in October!

Howdy folks. So I've decided to create a blog! Why you say?! Because, I love connecting with people. I also love talking to people about GOD and bragging on/about my family (they're great.) So hi! I'm Ashley. Great to meet ya!! I'm 24 geeze that seems old when I think about it, but hey... I'm not gonna get any younger! I have a 2 year old DIVA and she is wonderful. I have a handsome husband (he spoils me), and we are expecting a little prince in October. We are from the good ol' south and yes we love our God and guns. I am actively pursuing my position in ministry. No that doesn't put me behind the pulpit preaching and it probably will never lead there, but we all have a place in ministry! I'm going to be pursing a career as an EMT in about a year. AND... I'm out of things to tell you about me so I'll hop off here after all it's 2:30 in the AM!! God bless.
